(Translated by Google) First of all, I want to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Huang Jianrong, the vice-drugist, and all the nurses! Next, I’d like to share my experience. Since very few people around me have frozen their eggs (I just turned 32), and during a follow-up appointment, a young woman approached me and asked why I, who looked so young, would consider egg freezing, and why I chose this clinic. So, I wanted to share my experience so that more young women can learn more.
Initially, due to time constraints, I hadn’t planned to choose this clinic, but my mother strongly recommended that I consult at least three clinics, preferably those recommended by someone who had successfully frozen their eggs – after all, this is a big decision! (Since not many people around me had done it, I really asked many friends…and asked their friends to ask their friends.) After visiting Dr. Huang Jianrong’s Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, the third clinic I consulted, my answer became clear… The doctor’s kindness, friendliness, and patient explanations (he explained things very clearly!) made me feel very warm and cared for! Each subsequent egg freezing treatment reinforced my belief that I was glad I chose this clinic. I don’t know about other clinics (they all have their strengths and weaknesses), but not only was the director kind and caring, but the nurses were also incredibly supportive and encouraging during every injection and blood draw (I’m terrified of injections and blood draws). Although the ovulation-inducing injections made me feel down (due to hormones), and those around me could clearly sense my low mood, I always felt incredibly happy leaving the OB-GYN department. Especially since I was often alone, experiencing countless moments of sadness, I never felt truly alone here!
On the day of egg retrieval, although the hospital director had other appointments, he kept coming in to check on me and was very humorous 😆 The important thing is that after I got home, my mom secretly told me that while I was still under anesthesia and not fully awake, I talked in my sleep… saying I wanted to thank the director and nurses, and that I absolutely had to write a review (I never thought I’d talk in my sleep like that, haha). Anyway~
I truly believe that in this day and age, women should think more about themselves. Don’t have children just for the sake of marriage/childbirth. Choosing what’s best for you, and what you love about people and things, is really important! Having a good partner can reduce half the discomfort; if not, that’s okay too. At least choose an OB-GYN where you feel good, so you’ll have motivation and won’t feel alone~~
